Skincare Repurchases!

Boots Botanics Skin Calming Night Cream - £4.48 (RRP £6.99) // La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - £13

So here we have some of my skincare must haves, one used in my morning skincare routine, and the other at night. Both of these products work beautifully on my skin and I couldn't be happier with how my skin is looking and feeling at the moment.

The Effaclar Duo is obviously one of the most hyped skincare products on the market at the moment, so I won't go too into detail about it as you've probably heard it all already. But I honestly didn't think that this product would ever be incorporated into my actual skincare routine. I thought at best, I'd use it and finish it and that would be it, but I really have enjoyed using this product. I am proud to say I haven't had one single spot since using it and my skin tone has most definitely evened out too! I can hand on heart say I will forever fork out the bomb of £13 for this miracle worker.

Moving on to the Boots Night Cream, again my expectations weren't spectacular on this. I think I'd heard about it Grace's channel (UglyFaceOfBeauty) and just decided to try it out. Boots are always having a 1/3 off offers on their Botanics range, so that was an added bonus. Also I'm not going to lie to you, the fact that it had 'calming marshmallow' in it completely drew me in as well. But I do occasionally suffer from tiny irritations on my skin after I've taken off my make up with a wipe as I think the abrasion from the wiping causes it to act out against me. So with this product promising to soothe and calm, I was definitely intrigued. And it is love, it's just such a nice cream to use before bed. It's not greasy, it gives a slight cooling sensation, it sinks in pretty much instantly and I always wake up with soft skin and my irritations calmed. So there's not much else that I can say about this product other than I would pay more than they're charging because it's amazing and I can't imagine going to bed without it!
