This is one of the new products from The Body Shop 'Oils Of Life' range. It's supposed to 'intensely revitalise skin, instantly replenish moisture and revive radiance and the signs of ageing appear visibly reduced'. All sound great, right? They have brought out three other products alongside this one which you can all use in conjunction with each other. I asked the shop assistant which one she recommended out of all of them and she suggested this one, however I layered all of them on my hand and I will not lie to you, the skin on my hand felt so loved and nourished, I think I would rename it the 'Intensely NOURISHING Facial Oil'. It isn't one of those products that sinks in immediately, but as I've mentioned before, I love that about moisturisers personally, however it' doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky, instead it feels velvety and soft. It smells exactly like the Elizabeth Eight Hour Cream, so if you're not a fan of that, then you won't like this, although it's not overpowering in the slightest.
As for usage, apparently you can use this as a serum substitute so in the morning I would apply my Effaclar Duo, apply this and then use a moisturiser. I've got quite dry/dehydrated skin so the more moisture I can pile on, the better. I would then apply my make up over the top, I don't think it affects the way that my make up is applied in the slightest, in fact I think it applies a lot nicer because my skin is completely nourished. In the evening, I would cleanse and exfoliate my face as usual, and then I would go straight in and use this and pop a moisturiser over the top and that keeps me going until the next morning.
I love this stuff, even after the first use I loved it. If your skin was like mine and is in need of a bit of TLC and love, then I would definitely recommend this. It does come at a wee bit of a price of £28, but I think it is worth every drop. You can purchase it in store and here.
