It's supposed to be a foundation that has a high coverage, but you can't feel it kind of thang. On the packaging this foundation is described as 'A full-coverage, demi-matte, long-lasting foundation enriched with hyaluronic acid, laricyl and the concentrated power of Vitamin C. Skin is moisturised, dewy and pores are minimised'.
Okay so I've done my research and if you didn't know that hyaluronic acid, although it sounds terrifying, actually does fantastic favours for your skin. It actually keeps your skin plump and hydrated.
Laricyl, I found out actually has 3 main benefits, the first being improving skin tone or firmness, secondly, it tightens pores and finally it has moisturising benefits also. WHERE CAN I BUY LARICYL IN THE TRUCK LOAD?! So this foundation is basically make up and skincare all rolled into one beautifully packaged bottle! What more could you want?!
I love the term 'demi-matte', it's probably my favourite aspect of this foundation. It appears to be appealing to everyone, for both dry and oily skin types with its special formulation, and I think that's great because I hate being limited to not being able to use a foundation purely because of my skin type. I used the Real Techniques sponge to apply it and it left the most beautiful glow on my face without looking like Edward Cullen. I was almost tempted to not highlight because it looked so nice. I did however only have to powder under my eyes because I get creasing under there.
Overall it gets a massive 15000/10 from me, I'm completely and utterly hooked, it really is magic.
You can pick this up from Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Fenwicks for £29.50 (30ml)
